Welcome to the Saskatchewan Youth Parliament
At Saskatchewan Youth Parliament (SYP) our goal is to help get more young people engaged in politics. Through debate we allow participants to develop better public speaking skills and gain confidence in themselves. All while broadening their own perspective and gaining a greater appreciation for the views of others.
We encourage a fun and open atmosphere that allows members to feel comfortable in speaking their mind, no matter their knowledge of current events or their own political views.
For over 100 years youth from all across Saskatchewan have been taking part in SYP. Our members have gone on to be politicians, teachers, engineers, journalists, and business leaders that continue to give back to our province to this day.
If you are a youth aged 15-21, we invite you to join SYP and take part in one of Canada’s oldest youth parliaments.

Both organizations understand the importance of investing in our communities and helping to develop our provinces young leaders.
